Center Leadership
President and CEO
Shannon Dauchot brings more than 28 of healthcare finance leadership experience to her role as president and chief executive officer of Parallon, overseeing a spectrum of shared services including full service revenue cycle for hospitals and physicians, HIM and coding, physician credentialing and payroll. Most recently, Shannon was responsible for ensuring world-class customer service for Parallon’s “business to customer” needs as chief executive officer of Parallon’s Customer Service Operations division, with contact center and collections operations, Medicaid eligibility and other point solutions for healthcare clients and patients.
She has also served as senior vice president of client relations for Parallon and as regional chief executive officer where she led the build-out and implementation of a shared service center, serving a $3 billion, 22-hospital health system.
Prior to Parallon’s launch, Shannon held several leadership roles at HCA Healthcare, including chief operating officer of the Revenue Cycle Shared Services division and chief financial officer of the Tampa Shared Services Center. Shannon began her healthcare career in 1995 as a hospital controller and chief financial officer at HCA Healthcare facilities in Florida.
In addition, Shannon serves on the board of the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund as the program committee chair and is a 2024 Caring for the Community (CFC) Executive Champion for HCA Healthcare. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Regional VP of Human Resources, Parallon and ITG
Shana Barry is the regional vice president of human resources for Parallon and HCA Healthcare’s Information Technology Group (ITG). She is responsible for the strategic development and execution of human resources initiatives and programs, and she serves as the HR business partner to Parallon and ITG executives. Shana began her career with HCA Healthcare in 1997 and has served in multiple roles including recruiting manager, director of recruiting and employee relations, director of human resources and assistant vice president of human resources. In each of these roles, she led strategies to drive retention and engagement.
Shana earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University. She has also been certified as a human resource professional by both the Society of Human Resources Management and HRCI.
CEO, Payer Specialized Operations
Mike Davis serves as the chief executive officer of payer specialized operations, which includes executive oversight of dispute resolution, prebill denials, payer specialization, clinical review and the No Surprise Act. Having previously held roles across nearly all of the revenue cycle scopes, Mike brings over 15 years of experience to this role. He has led revenue cycle teams in hospital, physician, home health, hospice and external client business. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Florida.
CEO, Shared Service Center Operations
Lilyan Fleming is the chief executive officer of Parallon’s shared service centers that manage the full revenue cycle for HCA Healthcare. She is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Finance degree and has been with the company since 1989, starting as a controller at a flagship hospital in Florida, and later joining the Parallon team as a chief operating officer at the former Orange Park Shared Service Center. In 2011, she was promoted to senior vice president of shared service center operations and oversaw all nine shared service centers, consolidation of coding and health information management, physician credentialing and various other revenue cycle areas for HCA Healthcare.
Lilyan is responsible for ensuring that models are correctly established for commercial and managed governmental revenue. She monitors the correct calculation of net revenue at a patient account level and the liquidation of accounts receivable, and ensures denials/appeals and underpayments/overpayments are appropriately submitted for reconsideration. Lilyan also monitors the escalation of systemic processing issues, and the improvement of performance and cost effectiveness of the revenue cycle.
Chief Financial Officer
Joey Moss is the chief financial officer and senior vice president of Parallon, having been with HCA Healthcare for over 20 years. In this role, he has responsibility for multiple support areas within the Parallon organization, including shared service center financial operations oversight and support, operations support analytics, and project services, as well as Parallon’s accounting and finance functions, internal controls, payroll, and compliance teams. Joey also has strategic and operational responsibilities overseeing and supporting various initiatives and projects that cross Parallon’s portfolio, including acting as the primary interface between Parallon and HCA Healthcare financial leaders and operators. Prior to this, he was Parallon’s chief operating officer for operations support, where he provided leadership for Parallon’s staffing and productivity management, learning and development, Parallon acquisition and divestiture oversight, the contact center CoE collaborations, net revenue analytics, and project services.
Joey began with HCA Healthcare in 2001 in internal audit and worked on various financial and control audits until 2008, when he joined HCA Healthcare’s Shared Services division (now Parallon) as director of finance. He has held various roles in Parallon, including assistant vice president of client relations, vice president of client relations, vice president of corporate operations, vice president of HCA Healthcare client relations and payer specialization, and chief financial officer of shared service center operations.
CEO, HIM, Coding and Abstraction Services
Cindy Nichols brings more than 30 years of experience to her role as chief executive officer of Parallon’s health information management (HIM), coding and abstraction services team. In this role, Cindy is responsible for driving accuracy and efficiencies for hospital and professional fee coding, hospital HIM operations and hospital clinical data registry abstraction. Before assuming her current role, Cindy held a variety of HIM and coding corporate leadership positions, including serving as HCA Healthcare’s privacy officer from 2002 to 2009. Prior to joining Parallon, Cindy held several HIM management positions at a number of hospitals in the Chicago area.
Cindy received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has served in a number of national and regional HIM association roles, and has delivered many presentations to HIM and hospital executive leadership audiences.
VP, ITG Operations Support Group
Brady Plummer serves as Parallon’s VP of ITG Operations Support Group with responsibility for setting strategy and providing leadership for the technology supporting Parallon’s business processes. Brady is also responsible for execution of a significant project portfolio, including infrastructure, implementation, development, enhancement and new innovation. Brady was previously assistant vice president of internal audit for HCA Healthcare, where he focused on information technology risk and compliance. He was previously a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the healthcare industry risk assurance practice, as well as a senior manager at Deloitte. He has vast experience designing operating procedures and assessing efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement and information technology projects, operational and compliance audits, and project management.
General Counsel
Ryann Schneider serves as Parallon’s general counsel and leads the organization’s legal team. Ryann received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University, and she earned her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Recording Industry Production & Technology. Prior to joining HCA Healthcare in 2012, Ryann worked in private practice at Bass, Berry & Sims. She joined Parallon’s legal team in 2016 as senior counsel. Her legal career has focused on healthcare business and technology law.
Ryann is committed to community service and helped establish Parallon’s Caring for the Community (CFC) partnership with North Nashville’s Buena Vista Elementary during her term as Parallon’s CFC lead from 2018-2020. She is also a longstanding United Way Tocqueville Society member.
CEO, Customer Service Operations
Amy Stewart is the chief executive officer for Parallon’s Customer Service Operations division. Amy has over 23 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations. She joined the organization in January 2000, beginning her career with HCA Healthcare’s internal audit team. She has held numerous positions since then, including Parallon’s vice president of finance, chief operating officer of the Nashville Shared Service Center and the chief executive officer for the Nashville West Shared Service Center.
In her more than two decades with the organization, and in her more recent role as Contact Center chief executive officer, Amy has been instrumental to the success of our shared service centers, along with developing roadmaps for technology and process innovations. She is a champion for her teams and has a passion for enhancing the colleague, patient and physician office experience.
Chief Communications Officer
Amy Wall is the chief communications officer for Parallon. In this role, she drives the strategic direction of all communication platforms, channels, content and brand oversight and oversees all Parallon marketing and communications initiatives. Amy is also responsible for the successful relationships and account management for Parallon’s full service revenue cycle clients, which includes close collaboration with operations to ensure performance delivery meets and exceeds our client commitments. Additionally, Amy leads the revenue cycle transition team, with responsibility for the operational transition of newly acquired or divested facilities (both HCA Healthcare and external clients) to and from the Parallon revenue cycle services platform. Amy also oversees Parallon’s learning and development team, ensuring our colleagues receive the support, tools and training to achieve successful outcomes.
Previously, Amy served as vice president of client relations, marketing and communications for Parallon. Amy started with Parallon in 2014 as the assistant vice president for client relations. Prior to this, Amy had a 20-year career in healthcare consulting, with a focus on revenue cycle process optimization and overall operational performance improvement, assisting provider clients across the country to achieve their goals. Amy held roles as a senior consultant and director with Stockamp and Associates, a revenue cycle focused firm, and served 5 years as managing director and national assessment healthcare practice leader with Huron Consulting Group.
Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management and Administration from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
CEO, Nashville Shared Service Center
Shaunelle Bynum has over 40 years of experience in accounting and revenue cycle. Twenty-eight of those years have been with HCA Healthcare and Parallon, in which she has served in a variety of management positions. During her Parallon and shared services career, she started as the corporate director of payment compliance. Shaunelle then moved to the Nashville Shared Service Center in 2004, where she spent seven years as chief operating officer. She then moved back to corporate Parallon and was the vice president of revenue cycle services.
Shaunelle returned to the Nashville Shared Service Center as the chief executive officer in December 2013. Shaunelle received her degree from the University of Alabama in Health Care Management with a concentration in Accounting.
Regional CEO, Physician Revenue Cycle Operations
Adam Garner got his start with Parallon in 2011 after graduating from the University of Florida with a Master of Health Administration. Adam began his career as a manager in training with the former Orange Park Shared Service Center. In 2014, Adam moved to Nashville to start a position as assistant vice president of payment compliance, followed by assistant vice president of payer specialization. After a brief time with the Nashville Shared Service Center as the chief operating officer of external clients, Adam returned to Parallon corporate as the vice president of payment compliance.
In 2021, Adam accepted the role of chief financial officer of shared service center operations, and in 2022 he moved into the role of chief executive officer of revenue cycle specialty services.
In 2024 Adam Garner accepted an expanded leadership role as Regional CEO of Physician Revenue Cycle Operations. His scope will now include all revenue cycle functions across physician services, urgent care and specialty services (hospice and home health).
CEO, Richmond Shared Service Center
With over 35 years of HCA Healthcare experience, Steve Gross, chief executive officer of the Richmond Shared Service Center, is a dedicated and seasoned healthcare executive. Steve began his career with HCA Healthcare in the Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and CJW Medical Center business offices before successfully overseeing the transition of 19 facility-based business offices to a centralized business office located in Richmond, Virginia, one of the first of its kind for HCA Healthcare. The centralized business office became the Richmond Shared Service Center, which today provides the successful business model for the Parallon revenue cycle process.
Steve continues to refine the management of the ever-evolving environment and challenges of the revenue cycle for the facilities supported by the Richmond Shared Service Center. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University.
CEO, Florida Shared Service Center
Jason Hill brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to his role of chief executive officer at the Florida Shared Service Center. During his tenure with HCA Healthcare and Parallon, he has served in a number of roles including director of central quality assurance, director of support services, ethics and compliance officer, assistant chief operating officer and chief operating officer. Jason’s role as assistant chief operating officer occurred in conjunction with Parallon’s Leadership Development program, which has been instrumental to his career growth.
Prior to joining HCA Healthcare in 2005, Jason worked with Capgemini Ernst and Young in the healthcare consulting arena, where he served on a number of cross-functional engagements spanning a variety of client hospital settings.
Jason also strives to make a difference in his community and has been involved with a number of local organizations including Nashville’s Sexual Assault Center and Tampa-based Metropolitan Ministries. Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
CEO, Texas Shared Service Center
Kris Korff is a seasoned executive with over 33 years of experience in healthcare leadership, having served in numerous revenue cycle and hospital finance positions throughout his career. During his tenure with HCA Healthcare and Parallon, he has served as the chief executive officer of the San Antonio Shared Service Center since 2000 and in the spring of 2014 added chief executive officer responsibilities for the Dallas Shared Service Center. In the summer of 2021, he was named chief executive officer of the Texas Shared Service Center.
Prior to joining Parallon and the Shared Services division, Kris held several HCA Healthcare hospital chief financial officer positions in the San Antonio market and in Sarasota, Florida. Kris began his career with HealthTrust in 1989 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and served in several financial positions within HealthTrust before moving to Texas in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University in 1989.
CEO, Medicare Service Center
Chris Meffe serves as the chief executive officer for the Medicare Service Center. Chris has served in this capacity since joining HCA Healthcare and Parallon in 2015 and has overseen the expansion of the Medicare Service Center to consolidate additional back-office functions for Medicare and Veteran Affairs. Prior, Chris spent 14 years with Change Healthcare, serving the healthcare technology market in various capacities including senior vice president of operations and general manager. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics as well as a degree in visual arts from Elon University.
